About This Program
WashU/BJC is a tertiary referral center in St. Louis serving patients throughout Missouri and Greater Southern Illinois. Barnes Jewish Hospital is the flagship center for BJC HealthCare with over 1200 staffed beds, including a 10-bed epilepsy monitoring unit and 44 neuro-ICU beds. The program performs all phases of surgical epilepsy evaluation, manages all FDA-approved neuro-modulatory devices, and serves as a primary site for industry-sponsored clinical trials.
