Overview

Children's National Hospital is a NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Surgery Program in an underserved region of Washington, DC. It is a high volume, high acuity center with expert-level subspecialty care. The program strengths include a robust, multidisciplinary comprehensive surgery program, as well as experts in neonatal EEG and seizures, neurogenetics, ketogenic diet, neurocritical care, and epileptic encephalopathy. Research is a priority, and fellows are matched with mentors early in training.
