The program provides exposure to a broad range of neuromuscular diseases, including pediatric neuromuscular diseases, since it is based at the main referral center for the whole 3.2 million inhabitants of the Island of Puerto Rico. It also provides heavy exposure to electrodiagnostic medicine. All faculty members are board certified in neurology and neuromuscular medicine.
