Our 600+ bed (72 dedicated acute neuroscience) Level 1 trauma center boasts the busiest helicopter service in Illinois. Illinois Neurological Institute has a large catchment serving approximately 53,000 outpatient and 3100 inpatients annually and a Comprehensive Stroke Center with over 1100 stroke admissions annually--the largest in Illinois.
