The NIH Neurosurgery Residency offers exposure to rare and complex cases unavailable elsewhere, with access to cutting-edge NIH clinical trials and translational research. Trainees serve a diverse patient population from nearby underserved communities and international referrals. Our unique curriculum emphasizes bench-to-bedside integration, advanced neuroimaging, skull base and functional neurosurgery, and multi-disciplinary collaboration at the world's premier biomedical research instituion.
