The Comprehensive Heart Failure and Transplantation Program was established over 30 years ago. The team includes 5 AHF Cardiologists, 4 VAD/Transplant Cardiac Surgeons, 5 Coordinators, 5 Heart Failure Nurse Practitioners and a large multidisciplinary team. Program volumes are projected to exceed 15 cardiac transplants and 35 mechanical circulatory support devices. We are the only academic medical center in Milwaukee and eastern Wisconsin.
