About This Program

Our Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship offers training across one of the nation's highest-volume and most diverse advanced heart failure programs at Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Heart Institute. Fellows gain extensive experience in advanced HF management, transplant cardiology, durable and temporary mechanical circulatory support, cardiogenic shock, pulmonary hypertension, and complex critical care. Training occurs within a large tertiary/quaternary referral
