Overview

The University of Nebraska Medical Center offers a 1-year accredited ACGME advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellowship designed to prepare the fellow for initial board certification as well as to meet requirements for UNOS certification. In addition to training in clinical heart failure, cardiac transplantation, devices and pulmonary hypertension, the fellow is given the opportunity to participate in other academic activities such as teaching, conferences and research.
