Overview

The advanced heart failure and transplant fellowship is a one-year ACGME accredited program at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC). The program strikes a fine balance in the complex milieu of heart failure and transplant cardiology utilizing optimal strategies on mechanical circulatory devices, ECMO including ventricular assist devices as BTT, DT and bridge to decision.
