Founded in 2007, the Montefiore Einstein Center for Liver Transplantation has served the Bronx community as well as surrounding areas, including Westchester County and upstate New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Originally founded to deliver exceptional care to the community in the Bronx, the program has expanded to include an integrated care clinic treating substance use disorders in transplant patients, living donor liver transplant program and multi-organ transplant.
