Overview

Our program allows fellows to experience clinical work with surgery and hepatology to advance understanding of the liver transplant process. Fellows also have a dedicated weekly continuity clinic which allows excellent outpatient experiences with liver and liver transplant patients. This program is offered both as an ABIM Pilot Year for third year UAB GI fellows and as an advanced PGY7 year for board-eligible GI fellowship graduates.
