About This Program

Established in 1974, the MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship is a three-year, ACGME-accredited program enrolling two fellows per year at Maine's largest hospital and Level I Trauma Center, serving as the referral hub for Maine and eastern New Hampshire. MMC Portland supports multiple subspecialty ICU services, is the region's only ELSO-certified ECMO center, features a dedicated advanced bronchoscopy service (EBUS, robotic), and provides structured US/echo train
