Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine Program
About This Program
The goals of the Jacobi heme/onc fellowship are twofold: serve our patients well, and train our fellows well. The challenge is providing care to patients from the Bronx (and from all parts of the world) that are financially disadvantaged , underinsured, and lack social supports. The fellowship is unique : 1) it teaches mechanisms and the art of medicine, 2) has a 3 yr fellow only oncology continuity clinic . Our fellows leave the program well trained and ready to begin a long clinical career.
