About This Program
The Ochsner Hematology/Oncology Fellowship offers extensive clinical training: 3-6 months of mentored research, robust experience in the hematologic malignancies/stem cell transplant program; participation in blood bank and hematopathology activities; access to ASCO University and all ASH educational materials; active outpatient clinic with approx. 6000 patients with new cancer diagnoses seen each year; multidisciplinary clinics in breast, lung, head and neck, and genitourinary cancers.
