At every stage of the interventional cardiology program, fellows are trained not only to provide the best clinical care for their patients with acute or chronic cardiovascular disease, but also acquire the personal skills and attitudes needed to care for patients with serious, and sometimes life-threatening cardiac dysfunction. Trainees receive 20 vacation/conference days, 2 wellness day per academic year.
