The unique quality of our program is the spectrum of pulmonary disorders in an ethnically diverse population. Given our program's location in a low socio-economic area of Bronx County, our fellows gain experience in common and uncommon conditions. Fellows are trained to recognize unusual presentations of common conditions and apply treatment plans based on current guidelines and literature. Selection of fellows and faculty is done by a diverse selection committee which minimizes personal bias.
