Overview

Fellows at UAB are given a travel stipend to attend ASN or NKF Kidney week conferences (1 each year). Fellows attend UAB's CRRT Academy and Home Dialysis Academy in their 2nd year of training. We have in-house renal pathologists who review kidney biopsy findings in a biopsy conference every Tuesday at noon. Fellows have a noon didactic each day, with lunch provided >90% of the time. Additional fellow tracks include transplant, glomerulonephritis, interventional, research, and faculty.
