Overview

At EVMS, the Division of Infectious Diseases provides a diverse experience in the training of ID fellows in all aspects of infectious diseases. Our trainees gain experience in management of complex inpatient infections and infections in immunocompromised patients. EVMS is affiliated with Sentara Health System, and the majority of our inpatient care is provided at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The fellows will get experiences in infection control, antibiotic stewardship and public health
