We have a busy Level 1 trauma center, multiple intensive care units, the region's only bone and marrow stem cell transplant program and a solid organ transplant center which includes livers, pancreas, hearts and kidneys. We have a strong foundation in research including a Vaccine and Therapeutics Research Unit, Respiratory Pathogens Research Center, a CFAR and a Vaccine Research Unit. We are a lead center for COVID research both therapeutics and vaccines.
