Kern Medical Center Program
About This Program
Kern Medical Infectious Diseases Fellowship program offers robust clinical exposure in the Central Valley of California including training in advanced cases of Coccidioidomycosis, bountiful research opportunities for early career ID specialists, bolstered by its association with the Valley Fever Institute at Kern Medical and its affiliation with UCLA DGSOM, and local networking with public health. The VFI provides opportunities for community leadership and engagement through its commitment to educating physicians, patients, and the public. Fellows have access to electives at UCLA DGSOM and enjoy access to the rich UCLA Libraries system.
