Overview

The UAMS ID fellowship prides itself on developing ID physicians who graduate with excellent clinical acumen. Our program is located at the UAMS hospital and at the VA medical center, which provides a wide breadth of ID pathology. Each fellow has a panel of HIV patients in outpatient clinic. The monthly inpatient rotations include general ID consult services, transplant ID, microbiology lab, antimicrobial stewardship, infection control and the Arkansas Department of Health.
