Overview

As a university-based program in a port city, we see a wide variety of infectious disease pathogens acquired both locally and abroad. Our division provides inpatient and outpatient consultation services for adult patients and oversee and staff three separate Ryan White funded HIV clinics. We have adjunct faculty within our microbiology dept actively engaged in research at our BSL-2 & 3 labs. Our faculty work closely with fellows to provide ample patient interaction and learning opportunities.
