Overview

Our program mission is to identify and train physicians to improve the gastroenterology care of the underserved communities. The Gastroenterology fellowship will recruit trainees from all racial, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds who have a heart for service and have a demonstrated interest in health equity, in part through caring for patients in underserved and under-resourced communities, particularly communities of color.
