Our gastroenterology program provides an atmosphere in which a motivated physician well trained in internal medicine can develop into an academic or private practicing gastroenterologist. Banner University Medical Center is a tertiary care hospital that provides GI fellows with valuable experience treating patients with common as well as complex digestive disorders including the care of liver transplant patients. Fellows also gain clinical and translational research experience.
