Overview

Our program differentiates itself from other programs by capitalizing on its strength of a diverse patient exposure. UAB provides not only general gastroenterology and hepatology exposure, but exposure to all areas of subspecialties, such as IBD, Advanced Endoscopy, Transplant Hepatology, Motility and research. Further, our program also offers a Transplant Hepatology pilot year during the 3rd year of GI Fellowship and can consider offering an MPH during the 2nd year of fellowship
