SUNY Downstate Endocrinology provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population serving a wide community with a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders. Trainees gain hands-on experience managing common and complex conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal, pituitary disorders and metabolic bone disease. They also learn specialized skills such as preparing follicular cells for analysis, enhancing their diagnostic capabilities.
