About This Program
Marshall University's Internal Medicine Residency is a medium-sized program with 76 residents. Our greatest strength is our people. The Marshall motto, "Sons and Daughters of Marshall," reflects the close-knit culture of our residency, where residents support one another and work as a team. We utilize a 4+1 X+Y schedule with a protected ambulatory week and every fifth weekend off. Residents receive a protected half-day of didactics each week and dedicated research time during elective and ambula
