About This Program
Grand Strand Medical Center is a 403-bed acute care hospital located in Myrtle Beach, SC. We are the busiest trauma center in the state, and home to award-winning programs in cardiovascular care, orthopedic surgery and stroke care. Residents are immersed in a broad range of pathology that prepares them well for careers in hospital medicine, primary care, or fellowship training. We have an amazing, supportive team of faculty and residents. Come visit us at the beach!
