University of Puerto Rico Program
About This Program
A training program primarily based in a tertiary and supra-tertiary hospital in Puerto Rico. Candidates must have graduated from medical school within the past five years and, given the population we serve, must be fluent in Spanish. Our program strives to balance strong clinical training with the overall well-being of our residents, working toward the goal that by the end of the three-year training period, they become competent physicians and successfully pass the board exam.
