About This Program

Residents train across three primary sites - Miami Valley Hospital, a high-acuity 970+ bed Level I trauma center; the Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center; and Wright-Patterson Medical Center (Air Force) - providing a unique exposure to a diverse population that includes civilian, veteran, and active-duty military patients. The program utilizes a 6+2 scheduling model, with six weeks of inpatient, critical care, or elective rotations followed by two weeks of ambulatory continuity clinic.
