The Cincinnati IM residency blends patient-centered care, growth mindset training, and improvement science across diverse settings including the UC Medical Center, VA, and community hospitals. We offer structured pathways in medical education, QI, research (NIH-funded R38/StARR, PSTP), and global health. A major strength is our deep investment in training residents to become professional medical educators-skilled in teaching, program leadership, curriculum design, and education research.
