The Harnett Health IM Program is unique. We are a rural program but located only 45 minutes from Raleigh. We are a community program but have all subspecialty rotations. We have open ICUs so all residents quickly become facile in acute care medicine and procedures. Our program was "remodeled" in 2021 and has become so strong that the only suggestion our residents had at our spring townhall was to clone the cafeteria manager so she could staff both hospital cafeterias!
