New Mexico Primary Care Training Consortium Program
About This Program
Our program trains internists in the high-acuity, medically complex, underserved Four Corners region, offering both inpatient and outpatient experiences. We emphasize primary care and social determinants of health, with unique electives such as street-medicine, high-altitude medicine, and even a ward rotation in New Zealand. Features include simulation-based procedural training, robust POCUS and continuity clinic exposure, dedicated time for research/QI, and strong focus on resident wellness.
