About This Program
The University of Nevada, Reno Internal Medicine Residency Program offers diverse, high-acuity training across Renown Regional Medical Center, the regions only Level II Trauma Center, and the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System. Residents care for a broad patient population with pathology ranging from outpatient primary care to complex inpatient and critical care medicine. The program emphasizes clinical autonomy, strong faculty mentorship, bedside teaching, and a supportive learning environment
