University of Mississippi Medical Center Program
About This Program
Our program is in the capital city of Mississippi and is the only academic medical center, level 1 trauma center, and tertiary care referral center in the state. We serve a very diverse population in terms of medical illness, demographics, and socioeconomics. We have all subspecialty fellowships of medicine and have clinician educator, clinician researcher, hospitalist, and primary care tracks. Our faculty are committed to education, and our residents are a close-knit, growth-minded group.
