Overview

Butterworth Hospital is a Level I trauma center and clinical leader in cardiovascular, cancer, neurosciences, among many others. Spectrum Health provides high level services, including heart, lung, and bone marrow transplant, which adds exposure of complex specialized patient populations to truly enhance the educational experience. Spectrum Health has been awarded primary stroke center and heart failure certifications and has won the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence.
