About This Program
Saint Vincent Hospital offers premier training for aspiring internists, preparing them for independent practice in primary care, hospital medicine or advanced subspecialty training. With a strong academic focus, daily didactic sessions enrich learning and clinical reasoning skills. A structured 3-year POCUS curriculum fosters expertise, while mentoring for scholarly activity leads to national recognition and robust publications and QI work. Residents are groomed as teachers, mentors and leaders.
