About This Program
The Baton Rouge General Internal Medicine Residency Program is dedicated to academic excellence, scholarly achievement, and career success. Our residents won the Louisiana ACP Doctor's Dilemma competition and advanced to the national ACP competition. Residents regularly present research, quality improvement projects, abstracts, and case reports at regional and national meetings. We have maintained a 91% ABIM board certification pass rate over the past five years and have filled all residency pos
