University of Chicago Medical Center/Ingalls Memorial Hospital Program
About This Program
Train at the intersection of clinical excellence and community-centered care. The UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program combines the innovation and rigor of a world-class academic medical center with the perspective gained from caring for a diverse patient population shaped by complex social and health realities. We train internists who pursue the holistic health of patients in underserved communities — physicians who are clinically excellent, practically wise, and deeply committed to health equity. This program has been newly accredited by the ACGME since September 2026. Website: https://ingallsimr.bsd.uchicago.edu/
