Residents perform their clinical rotations at two participating sites: the newer Orlando VA Medical Center, serving one of the largest populations of veterans in the nation and Osceola Regional Medical Center, a Level 2 trauma center with diverse patient population and a robust pathology mixture. The internal medicine residency program at UCF utilizes the 4+1 rotation schedule. It also allocates a weekly academic half-day (AHD) for scheduled educational programming for residents.
