About This Program
Tertiary academic system anchored by an 1,100 bed Level I Trauma Center in Newark and a 320 bed safety net hospital in Wilmington and is the largest affiliate of Thomas Jefferson. The Internal Medicine Residency recruits 15 categorical interns annually. Residents gain broad clinical experience in a 24-bed MICU without fellows, fostering autonomy, and a CICU with fellows promoting multidisciplinary learning.
