Bayhealth Medical Center Program
About This Program
The program uses an X+Y (2+2) schedule and allows completion of all required subspecialty rotations within the first two years. Inpatient rotations are scheduled for 2 weeks per 4 week block. PGY3 residents are given extra elective time to support preparation for independent practice. Southern and Central Delaware is a medically underserved area, and residents see a diverse range of patients and pathologies.
