Overview

UAB provides comprehensive clinical training with an emphasis on clinical reasoning in a supportive and caring learning environment. As a quaternary referral center, we care for patients with a wide range of pathologies. Our program is intentionally structured to provide diverse clinical experiences & progressive autonomy, preparing our residents for successful careers. We offer optional specialty tracks including Medical Education, Health Disparities, POCUS, Women's Health, and Primary Care.
