First program in the country in this exciting subspecialty; faculty are exceptionally experienced leaders in the field. Participate in biochemical genetics research and undiagnosed diseases program. Trainees rotate through metabolism service at Children's National Health System, the State of Maryland Newborn Screening Program and at Kennedy Krieger Institute in addition to the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. Trainees also have option for training at the University of Maryland.
