Emory University School of Medicine Program
About This Program
Emory is the only metabolic center for patients with inborn errors of metabolism (IEM) and newborn screening follow up in the State of Georgia. The metabolic clinic is staffed by 7 metabolic physicians and and 5 metabolic dieticians along with nurses, genetic counselor, social worker and care coordinator. We are actively following near 1000 patients with intermediary IEM and about 400 patients with lysosomal storage diseases and peroxisomal disorders.
