Fellows completing the program achieve active candidate status to be eligible for the American Board of Medical Genetics & Genomics (ABMGG) examination in medical biochemical genetics. Prior to applying to the medical biochemical genetics fellowship program, the candidate must have successfully completed a medical genetics residency training program and be an active candidate for the ABMGG examination in clinical genetics.
