Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine Program
About This Program
Our Medical Genetics and Genomics residency is a shared program with both the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women's Health. It functions as a fellowship. The residents are exposed to the full breadth of the specialty including variant interpretation under the NY Center for Rare Disease. There are many multidisciplinary clinics as well as ample research and teaching opportunities. In general, residents work one on one with Genetics attendings.
