Mountain Area Health Education Center (Boone) Program
About This Program
Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the town of Boone, North Carolina. Fellows are involved with Appalachian State and Lees-McRae collegiate and Watauga high school athletics. There is a broad patient population from toddler to nonagenarian including acute and chronic problem management. Fellows get direct, hands-on experience on a daily basis with athletes and community patients.
