Our Geriatric Medicine Fellowship will provide specialty trained geriatricians for the rural local and regional communities with the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary for autonomous practice. The Fellowship will fulfill a need for both clinical expertise and for advocacy within academic health systems and the state' physicians and hospitals. This will include research into new solutions to encourage healthy aging at home and supply faculty to teach in a wide range of specialties.
