MultiCare Health System (Omak) Program
About This Program
The Omak Rural Training Program combines the benefits of the core urban program Tacoma Family Medicine (est 1978) with subsequent hands-on, real-world rural continuity experience. Residents work their 1st year in Tacoma, WA and their 2nd and 3rd years at the rural site in Omak, WA. In Omak, residents train in full spectrum family medicine at a FQRHC, Family Health Centers. They perform inpatient, ER and OB care at the local critical access hospital, MidValley Hospital.
